Planning — implementers work closely with key decision makers at hospitals to plan projects that meet exact specifications—demands and needs of the hospital system. With key vision of how technology fits hospital environments, implementers intricately piece together a plan that fulfills hospital IT strategy (conferring with hospital technology managers), and fall within hospital budgetary constraints.
Fixing — one of the key roles in an implementer is fixing chronic conditions that commonly plague hospital environments. Upgrading network equipment, standardizing processes throughout the hospital and ensuring software and EHR tools are appropriately being used are critical components of an implementer’s role.
Stabilizing — one of the keys to successful hospital IT infrastructure is making sure the hospital has a stable environment, preventing unexpected outages, downtime and malfunctioning equipment, software or data security breaches and ransom attacks.
